This time, Château Palmer itself became the exclusive recording venue for an equally exceptional ensemble. TRIO features internationally acclaimed bassist, cellist, and composer Lars Danielsson, alongside two jazz greats from the North: Finnish trumpeter Verneri Pohjola and British guitarist John Parricelli. The music captures the unique atmosphere of the château, reflecting the tranquility, beauty, and intimacy of the recordings setting. This edition comes in a crafted box covered with Bordeaux coloured linen, includes an extensive booklet filled with photographs by renowned French photographer Julien Mignot, and a special hand-signed art print by American artist Mark Harrington. Harrington and ACT share a connection spanning over 20 years, during which many of his works have been featured on ACT’s iconic album covers.
