The eighth title in the series celebrates the work of Hieronymus Bosch, 1450 -1516, the Dutch draughtsman and painter from Brabant. He is one of the most notable Renaissance representatives of the Early Netherlandish school of painting. His work contains fantastic illustrations of religious concepts and narratives and within his lifetime his work was collected in the Netherlands, Austria and Spain, and widely copied.
