The aim of this book is to provide a “voice” to victims of prostitution. This work is built on the personal experiences of women interviewed in their “natural” settings. This is an existential approach with a fundamentally holistic concept revealed through a heuristic strategy. The three main focuses of this study are obstacles women faced growing up, choices made while deciding whether or not to disengage from prostitution and the help they were seeking.
