The sixth volume of proceedings of the International Colloquia on the History of Egypt and Syria in the Fatimid, Ayyubid and Mamluk Eras covers the 14th and 15th gathering, organized at Leuven University in 2005 and 2006. True to tradition, the 24 articles deal with a wide variety of scholarly subjects, all revolving around the central theme of Syro-Egypt's high and late medieval history.
