Draws on the story of one womans experiences in Africa during the period of Terrorist War. This book talks about the experiences of 'Betty', a woman who at 16 left home to assist the Red Cross in dealing with Evacuee children from London. At 18 she joined the Navy to work as a nurse at one of their hospitals.
