Transcriptions Manifesto: Originally conceived as a project between Matt Robidoux and Tom Crean, Transcriptions, from the beginning, was a theft of other musics and its subsequent scoring, so it can be further recycled and reconfigured. After several years of doing Transcriptions, it became clear that no one owns these works and there is no element of authorship to claim. Furthermore the idea was sparked as to what if Transcriptions was an open source project allowing anyone willing to contribute scores. This document intends to give the reader all the information to produce their own Transcriptions scores through descriptions and examples.
