In light of the variety of legal traditions in Council of Europe member states in relation to administrative law, this publication details Recommendation Rec (2004) 20, adopted in December 2004, which sets out general rules for the judicial review of administrative acts, in order to consolidate the rule of law and human rights in Europe.
