Some days, Mom acts like other moms. She makes breakfast and walks Paige and Meg to school, then helps them brush their teeth at night before reading their favourite books and turning out the lights. Other days, Mom does not get out of bed. When Mom is in bed, Paige must run things. The situation seems upside down. As more and more days turn upside down, Paige and Meg adjust. They get their own backpacks for school and stop inviting friends for sleepovers. There comes a day when Paige no longer needs to do Moms work. But can Mom be trusted anymore?
