The DVD covers a full range of progressive speed training programmes to increase acceleration, endurance and maximum speed. Speed assessment tests allow coaches and athletes to identify their personal and sport-specific requirements and to tailor their exercises accordingly. Alternative speed training methods include sand and water training and the ability to tailor workout for injury rehabilitation. This is a comprehensive training programme is divided into four phases: early off-season, late off-season, pre-season and in-season. Athletes and coaches will learn how to develop the keys to speed, including reaction time, technique, stride length and frequency and first-step quickness.
