Axel has it all. He is handsome, rich, adventurous, intelligent and his family is one of Sweden‘s most powerful. He is a friend of kings and queens, spends time with celebrities and is involved in several wars and revolutions. He is even involved in the creation of a new nation. Despite all this, he would never be completely happy, and on a summer‘s day June the 20th it would all come to an end. Christian Gill (b.1974) is a pedagogue and an educator both in Sweden and internationally. He is at present working in Stockholm where he and his family lives. AXEL is his debut as a writer and illustrator.
