Grace and law were misunderstood concepts in Paul's day, which resulted in what is believed to be the oldest New Testament letter, written to the believers in Asia Minor to help correct their confusion. This letter to the Galatians has served as the bedrock of Christianity ever since, because it clarifies the Biblical relationship between grace and law with respect to the glorious and vital doctrine of justification. Grace and law continue to be misunderstood concepts in our days too and thus, it is vital that every believer continues to be a student of Galatians. This commentary on Galatians, while being serious in its exposition of the text, has a devotional feel to it and makes many practical applications of Paul's teaching to the believer's daily life. In this sense Grace & Law is rather unique, because it's relevance and usefulness as a tool, will be recognized in the pastor's study as well as in private or family devotions.
