When her boss retires, and the company she works for is sold, Carrah Chambers discovers the lesson of never treating your job like a career as she finds herself laid off. Struggling to find new employment, she comes across the idea of becoming a sugar baby and decides to try her hand at it despite knowing that a plus-sized, African American woman in her mid-thirties isn't society's image of the "ideal sugar baby".
