US Navy Warships and Auxiliaries
In the four years since the last edition of U.S. Navy Warships & Auxiliaries, Steve Bush has tracked the development of U.S. technology and tactics. This edition removed many notable ships while adding other new and innovative vessels such as the Littoral Combat Ships, the USS Independence, and the Zumwalt-class ships.
This pocket-sized reference book is organized into three different sections: the U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command, and the U.S. Coast Guard. Each section begins with a brief introduction before moving on to the ships. Each class of ship has a color photograph, a silhouette, and a short description. In addition to covering ships, the book includes sections on the aircraft and helicopters of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and the Coast Guard.
