Ongoing public demand has resulted in this new edition of the classic book on the work of acclaimed New Zealand artist Frances Hodgkins. Although her work has a considerable reputation, and though her life and letters have been extensively explored, the paintings themselves had not received detailed and concentrated attention until the publication in 1994 of this work.
