This book is an exploration of the ephemeral quality of data on the web, in ebooks, and in eMail and the lack of enduring standardization of CD's, tapes, memor sticks and other electronic media. It explores how as a technologic society in which knowledge is the medium of business and professional life. We are documenting the majority of our actions and creating intellectual property in what amounts to disappearing ink.
