Orbit Correction and Analysis in Circular Accelerators : Proceedings of the Workshop held in Upton, NY, December 1993
This work presents recent research on orbit analysis in circular accelerators. The principle topics are orbit correction algorithms and methods, orbit stability, the finding of lattice errors and the proposal of correction schemes from analysis of distorted orbits. Also discussed are the measurements of beta functions, coupling, and other machine functions with orbit analysis. The work is intended for researchers involved in accelerator physics, especially in the design, operation and control of circular accelerators.
