Roodee, the short-tongued, weed-whipping frog, sits on a rock at the edge of a cliff that overlooks all of slip-on-a-rock-canyon. He gazes down at the river as it glides across the canyon floor and disappears through the crack in the south wall. Itas been 299 years since the great lizard war, and 299 years that frogs have existed on this mountaintop. Even though no frog has ever traveled beyond the safety of the walls that surround slip-on-a-rock-canyon, it is highly advised by the elders to not even ponder the thought of venturing beyond the walls; Roodee decides to go. He and his last minute traveling companion, his best friend Phidoe, embark on a long journey through unexplored territory and unfriendly adversaries. They face new challenges that test their strength and courage as they descend the steep mountain in a wild, funny, and sometimes dangerous quest to discover the riveras end.
