This pocket-sized reference book is organized into three different sections: the U.S. Navy Military Sealift Command and the U.S. Coast Guard. Each section begins with a brief introduction before moving on to the ships. Each class of ship has a color photograph a silhouette and a short description. In addition to covering ships the book includes sections on the aircraft and helicopters of the U.S. Navy Marine Corps and the Coast Guard.
