Ralph Bonehill was one of the pseudonyms used by the Stratemeyer Syndicate. The "Boy Hunters Series," takes the heroes through various adventures while out hunting in the woods and mountains, and fishing on rivers and lakes. In "Four Boy Hunters," the boys organized their gun Club and obtained permission to go a number of miles from home and establish a camp on the edge of a lake. Besides hunting and having adventures around their camp, the boys help bring two men to justice.
