Introduction to Educational Leadership
Originally published by Harper and Row in 1975, this volume is based on the premise that leadership is a process that occurs in a social system and that a person can learn how to engage effectively in that process. It explores four major content areas, 1) the social milieu in which educational leadership occurs, 2) the role that an educational leader is expected to play, 3) the nature of the person who is an effective leader, and 4) the occupation of educational leadership.
