Told through the searing voice of its unnamed narrator, 'The Dog Fighter' is the story of a young man drifting through the badlands of California and Mexico following the death of his mother. After landing in a remote city in Baja, he is lured into a society where men stand face to face with dogs to fight them for fame and money.
