The author attempted to fill a gap in theosophical literature by supplying an up-to-date and complete dictionary of the technical terms current in theosophical literature. The principles on which the dictionary were compiled are fully set out in the introduction, where some related points are also brought forward. The bibliography contains a classified list of the chief works the author used in compiling this reference book.
