This text deals with the multitude of issues associated with HIV disease and health workers, including volunteers. It is a comprehensive review, which includes research, evaluation and education at both personal and systems levels. Issues covered include Asia and general care in a number of regions around the world. Major international projects are discussed together with measurement and evaluation issues in the area of stress, burnout and AIDS impact.
