A mythical intriguing story full of suprises and humour. This is a story of a boy called Jack Dent, whose life is at a low ebb. Jack is struggling in year six with his preparation for S.A.T 'S, and is often humiliated for wearing second hand clothes. It is only by chance that Jack spots an ancient antique and curiosity shop. He yearns to explore the huge building for his birthday present. Jack's wish comes true when his father decides to take him. Unbeknown to Jack, the keeper Alfred Hopkins is much more than a keeper.
