In Superman: The Man of Steel, Brainiac 13 returns to Metropolis to reclaim his futuristic technology from Lex Luthor, and destroy the city. The struggle between the two enemies for control leaves the fate of the city hanging in the balance, and Superman is called into action. Facing an unstoppable army of robotic drones, The Man of Steel must travel into the depths of space and to the Phantom Zone, to save the world. Supervillains like Bizarro, Metallo, and Mongul will complicate matters, while allies like Steel, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen are on hand to help Superman out.
