The Little Book of Sufi Wisdom offers the reader a selection of prose, poetry and teaching stories that capture the essential wisdom of the Sufis. As the Introduction explains, the way of the Sufi is frequently described as the 'way of the heart', for it is through the purification or 'polishing' of the heart that the Sufi arrives at the state of Divine Unity - the complete realization of the Oneness of God and our oneness with Him.
