Man's make up goes back billions of years with his fellow animals. Therefore his instincts for survival and self-improvement are the same, and even in physical and biological make up we are 90% the same.Only in our power of reasoning do we differ, and our reasoning anyway is simply an extension of (or motivated by) our animal instincts, because our reasoning or 'rational choice making' is generally devoted to self-improvement.That means, we need an environment which allows us to work, sleep and play; allows us the hopes and possibilities of self-improvement AND allows us the 'fear' of falling.Remember, we are nothing more than animals, with the additional gift of reason, which helps us to exploit our animal instincts. Arriving in this world as a human, especially as a privileged human, is A BEAUTIFUL TICKET TO RIDE. But let us not abuse this ticket. We must make ourselves more aware that we are here as a result of a far greater source than mankind, and we should be ever mindful of saving and succouring that source, rather than riding it to death for the one-sided and selfish glorification of man.
