Defending Peace and Freedom: Toward Strategic Stability in the Year 2000
The Soviet-American relationship encompasses a broad range of issues, but the strategic stability of that relationship is first and foremost a question of central military balanceócomprehensive, and not just in nuclear forces. Yet, even as a primarily military issue, strategic stability has important political, economic, and psychological dimensions. This work examines many of these complex issues.
