Amon Amarth reached #1 on German album charts with both Jomsviking and Berserker. Jomsviking has gone on to earn gold certification in Germany.

Amon Amarth returns with their twelfth studio album, The Great Heathen Army. Album was produced, mixed, and mastered by Andy Sneap @ Backstage Productions.

Features striking artwork by longtime collaborator Tom Theil, who also created iconic cover art for prior Amon Amarth releases; The Crusher, Twilight of the Thunder God, Surtur Rising, Deceiver of the Gods, and Jomsviking.
