The essay summarises the architectural history of the country, beginning just after World War II, and continues through to the most recent research. The rest of the book is dedicated to a fascinating selection of the most representative architectural pursuits of recent decades, all pertaining to Finland. Every project is introuduced with a descriptive summary and illustrated with images, photographs and sketches.
