June 2026. The Soviet Union occupies most of the former United States. Two MIT professors of astrophysics, Paul deVere and former Special Operations Officer Lewis Ginter, have discovered a way to open wormholes in time. They develop a daring plan to go back to the early 1960s to alter the course of American history.
