This book gives some insight into a complicated life, littered as it was by some of Brian's numerous occupations including scrapyard worker, photographer, 'wall of death' rider, nurse, invoice clerk, ambulance driver, bricklayer, broadcaster (radio and television), tenor, builder, actor, gramophone and record collector. Also designer of the 'Ernie-car', similar in design to the ill-fated Sinclair C5, except that his design incorporated a giant gramophone spring which could be released to assist climbing hills. He also had the dubious distinction of blowing up part of Snowdon in a film.
