DYNAMIC 1978 BROADCAST FROM THE CLASSIC AC/DC LINE-UP
A superb AC/DC live broadcast recording from a gig performed by the group on the 21st August 1978 at the Boston Paradise Theatre, Massachusetts, in the area known as New England in the North East of the country. Performed during the band’s second American tour and just as they were on the cusp of huge success stateside, and across Europe too - most notably in the UK - having by this time already hit big back home in Australia. The band were touring in support of their Powerage album, AC/DC’s forth internationally distributed studio album, released worldwide in May ’78 through Atlantic. The group now boasted the classic line-up of Young-Young-Scott-Williams-Rudd, Powerage being the first record Cliff Williams played on after replacing Mark Evans on bass in mid-1977. This show, as proven by this superb broadcast recording, features the band at their dynamic and powerful best, and it will surely remain a must have release for fans of this extraordinary group.
