As a teacher with extensive experience in Finnish public schools, I have noticed that many students face difficulties in mastering their mother tongue due to a lack of effective teaching materials. It's imperative for individuals living away from their homeland to learn their native language, as it plays a vital role in reinforcing their cultural identity and fulfilling their cultural needs. Currently, the textbooks employed by Dari language instructors are predominantly adaptations of the Afghan curriculum or creations by Iranian authors. However, these resources do not adequately cater to students who are first introduced to a different set of alphabets and subsequently require foundational support, including learning to write from right to left. This textbook is specifically tailored to offer a comprehensive Dari language education to individuals in the diaspora. It focuses on three fundamental areas: the basics of writing, encompassing pen direction; an introduction to the Dari alphabet; and guidance on combining letters to form words. Each page is meticulously designed to ensure that the learning process is both straightforward and accessible. l warmly welcome feedback from students, parents, and educators to further enhance the quality of these educational resources. Sincerely, A Dari Language Teacher in Finnish Public Schools Nabi Qanezadeh The book will be released in beginning of June 2024
