Does the Flame Fox's tail really shoot out sparks that create the northern lights?
Biegga is a young husky whose mission is to find out if the story about the origin of the northern lights is true. He is joined on this wintery adventure by a blabbering Siberian Jay called Miss Shiny (who has stunning tail feathers) and a persistent young fox called Silver Paw (who has a unique bushy tail). On their journey to the northernmost fell, Biegga, Miss Shiny and Silver Paw receive help from Lady Boreal and her magic flute, a white-bearded man and some... very... slow... talking... reindeer.
Biegga and the Tale of the Flame Fox is the first work by Annika Welling and Aino Kännö, where Annika's lively and imaginative storytelling is combined with Aino's pastel-soft, magical illustrations. Through Biegga, the Finnish legend of the Flame Fox comes alive to a new generation all around the world.
