Thisyear,weadoptedtheconferencethemeof"IntegrationandInterfaces"in ordertoencourageallmembersofthecommunitytoparticipateindiscussions onunifyingthemanyaspectsofconceptualstructures. ThepurposeofICCS 2002wastoserveasaforumforresearchersinthemanyareasofconceptual structurestodiscusstheirworkandto?ndcommongroundacrossdiscipline boundaries. Allofthepaperscontainedinthisvolumewerereviewedintheirfulllength byatleasttworeviewersaswellasamemberoftheEditorialBoard.
