A place to meet and exchange reflections from Anthropology, Archaeology and other Social Sciences from Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Bolivia, Spain and Argentina. A debate around "places of memory" to delve into their particularities with a critical approach of the processes of memorialization that affect them, as well as the ways to show and hide their materialities. Some papers offer experiences related to dictatorships and others are about the memory of indigenous groups. In both cases, memory articulates a discourse between past and present, territory and materiality.
