Christian and Leighton may come from different backgrounds, but they are destined to meet. For Leighton, life has been tough. In Sleeping With Lazarus author Ron Peter Pastore brings them together with renowned photographer Ian Simmerton, who has a sideline dabbling with porn. As he guides Christian and Leighton into a lucrative career, all three have ambivalent views about the path they are treading. For Chrissie, as Christian prefers to be known, the money will enable his gender transition. For Leighton the future is not so clear, and, for Ian, he sees a brilliant future for all. Yet, he knows that the road will not be smooth.
