This book is a report from the members of the working group set up by the National Institutes of Health to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of all diagnostic techniques for acute myocardial ischemia and infarction in the Emergency Room. This group was formed from the National Heart Attack Alert Program (NHAAP) and enlisted the help of 39 professional organizations.
