Paul Shaffer & The World’s Most Dangerous Band are back and even more dangerous with a new album that features an all-star lineup of guest artists including Shaggy, Dion, Darius Rucker, Jenny Lewis, Bill Murray and more. Formed in 1982, The World’s Most Dangerous Band is: Paul Shaffer, Felicia Collins (guitar), Anton Fig (drums), Will Lee (bass, guitar), and Sid McGinnis (guitar), with Tom Malone, Frank Greene and Aaron Heick (horns). Over the past 30 years Paul Shaffer & The World’s Most Dangerous Band were best known to millions of television viewers, five nights a week during David Letterman’s enormously successful late-night talk shows, first on NBC and then CBS. Prior to Letterman, Paul Shaffer played keyboard in the “Saturday Night Live” house band during show’s first five seasons where he played piano for Bill Murray’s popular “Saturday Night Live” character Nick the Lounge Singer. In 2015 Shaffer year served as MC for Murray’s television special “A Very Murray Christmas”.
