Problems related to substance use, abuse and dependence are a major concern on societies today, persisting to require considerable attention from the community. For decades studies have been showing that drug consumption represents a main risk factor for physical, social and mental health problems. Unfortunately, reality shows that in many cultures and fractions of population, heavy substance use is the norm.
