Darkly sensuous, the poems in this collection-the poet's first-capture the unspoken moments of life through images firmly grounded in the body and the material world. Relationships, family, and death are explored; at times through the medium of a dancers body, and at other times through everyday artifacts. The poems will both move and disturb readers, while also bringing about a sense of realization through new and unexpected perspectives.
