This book contains the refereed proceedings of the Cech Centennial Homotopy Theory Conference, organized to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Eduard Cech and held at Northeastern University in June 1993. Focusing on the theme of stable and unstable homotopy theory, the conference attracted more than one hundred mathematicians from around the world.
