Meet Ali Turtle, who is 5 years old. She lives at Wayland Pond with her dad, momma, and two best friends; Joyce the cat and Peyton puppy. Ali Turtle has trouble at home. She has trouble at school. After she learns that she has ADHD, she is sad because she is different than the other animals. Momma helps her understand that she is not alone.
