"Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering" illustrates all the terms of the hydrologic cycle and discusses the possible ways of their estimation. Application of the methods to the field problems are discussed extensively. The book focuses primarily on surface water hydrology and all the aspects of hydrologic processes, analysis, and design. A book on water resources engineering cannot be complete without a discussion on the statistics, probabilities and ground water hydrology. These aspects are covered adequately in separate chapters.
