Nutrition in the early years of a child's life has a major impact on growth, health and development. Health-care practitioners working in the community play a key role in ensuring that adequate nutrition is provided and risk factors are identified. This book provides practical guidelines to enable health-care professionals to give correct and consistent advice to parents and carers of those under five years of age, and to those children at risk of nutritional inadequacy.
