In all of the chapters there is a wonderful display of available tools and techniques ranging from molecular biology to cell biology to clinical skills.
The book presents the state of the art at the present time and points directions for future research. It provides a valuable overview of all aspects of research designed to advance the field of somatic cell therapy.
Cell Therapy also includes a contribution from Professor Edward Donnall Thomas, 1990 Nobel Laureate in Medicine and co-recipient Joseph E. Murray for their discoveries concerning organ and cell transplantation in the treatment of human disease.
This work has been divided into three sections.
