Thanks to being featured on several food-oriented shows, Freed's has built a substantial national and international following. So much so that in 2017, the bakery was able to launch its own television show on Food Network called Vegas Cakes, which has just been picked up for its second season. Now they are ready to share both their story and their recipes. The Freed's Way: Cakes and Creations From Las Vegas' Oldest Bakery will showcase many of Freed's Bakery's time-honored recipes. These include their famous wedding cakes, dessert cakes, cookies, and other sinful treats (a list of which will be determined upon acceptance of the proposal). The book will not only showcase the recipes but will show appealing professional photos in a four-color format. Additionally, the book will include helpful baking hints from Freed's more than 50 years of experience as well as profiles of the employees who appear on the show.
