Filmed especially for ¡Trato hecho!, the De puertas abiertas a la comunidad  video features interviews with approximately 25 Spanish speakers from various Spanish-speaking countries and from diverse backgrounds and professions on various issues and topics related to Spanish in the community.  Students can listen first-hand to the personal and professional experiences of journalists, students, artists, and business owners, among others, living in New York City. Pre, during and post- activities are featured in the Trato hecho! section of each chapter.  The video script is also available for self-checking of the activities or to facilitate the comprehension of the video content.
