Centuries before the rise of the first Interstellar Confederacy, a distant world located on the galaxy's outer spiral remained home to the oldest known sentient species. With a system of fertile planets under the warmth of binary suns at their disposal, the earliest and most ancient of all races gave birth to the first Galactic Empire. But often times the most wonderful potential gives rise to the most vehement hatred, and such was the case for this self-contained paradise. As the empire fell into disrepair and its inhabitants went to war over and over again, a few solitary pioneers set out to escape the bloodshed. Centuries later, the origin of their races a distant memory, these forgotten sons and daughters are called upon to take up arms when the world of their distant origin begins to extend its influence once again.
